Southeastern Wisconsin NORML meeting for members, prospective members and the general public starts at 7:00PM, Monday May 20th, at the Riverwest Public House located at 815 E Locust St., Milwaukee, WI. You are invited to join Wisconsin’s emerging leader in cannabis (marijuana) law reform.
We support the freedom to grow and distribute medical cannabis and industrial hemp as well as the responsible adult use of Cannabis. We work hard to repeal Cannabis Prohibition. We are working to reform current Wisconsin laws in all areas, however we could use some help from the citizens of Wisconsin. Despite our State Motto being Forward, we are falling behind legislatively compared to our neighboring States. Join us or join www.wiscan.org or any other NORML Chapter or other Cannabis Reform Organization in the State close to you and get involved with making a Bill Pass for Wisconsin! It’s time to reclaim our freedom to make our own choices, fix our economy, help out patients, empty our over crowed prisons of non-violent cannabis offenders, end the drug related violence created by prohibition, stop the misinformation amongst the general public and restore moral integrity to our society in large part via the end of cannabis prohibition. Are the only meetings in Milwaukee and Madison? I moved to Wisconsin a little over 6 months ago from Colorado. In Co. I had my state MMJ card and learned a lot while finding relief. Now that I have moved to WI. I am back on daily regimen of pills. Pills that are horrible poison but the only way I can function with pain. I would like to find out what I can do to help make a safe place where we can use the natural substances god put on this earth to help us.

I happen to be in the same boat as you, only thing is that Im from Wisconsin and had just moved here to Washington state.
I was on pain meds for 10years and Washington out right took me off cold turkey! So they offered me the medical card MMJ. Learned alot about the plant more, and really dont want to go back on something that was killing me! So When I get home in August Im want to fight for this to get legalized! I know there going to put me back on my meds.....and I dont want to go threw the changes I had gone threw here......withdraws were horriable!
I too want to know what I have to do for Wisconsin....
So we should add each other as friends so that we can both fight!! and learn together if you like!
At this time Southeastern Wisconsin NORML holds their meetings in Milwaukee. We have discussed other venues in Southeastern Wisconsin, and are considering doing some events outside Milwaukee.
There is a Northern Wisconsin NORML Chapter you can find more info about at http://www.northernwinorml.org and yes there are meetings with another group in Madison.
